Leon Saleh was born not too long ago into a family of musicians and soon began playing drums. Since then, he has become one of Hamburg’s most renowned jazz drummers.
A versatile artist, he moves effortlessly through styles ranging from traditional and Modern Jazz to Rock, Metal, Brazilian, Cuban, and Electronic music. As a composer and bandleader, he merges these genres in unique ways and crafting a distinct musical identity.
His talent and dedication have been recognized with numerous awards and scholarships.
Alongside his career as a performer, Leon Saleh works as a producer, developing music and video content for his own projects and for various film and advertising clients.
In his passion project, Catnip Police, he blends Prog Rock, Flamenco, Samba, classical, and electronic elements, delivering a genre-defying experience with a distinctive visual vision.
